this is so not me.

i've been meaning to do this for a while, start a blog, for years to be exact. and it's ironic that the thing that got me to finally start a blog is not having a computer. you see, my computer died. the nvidia chip is bad, the logic board is $1000 to replace so... done. i managed to get my 12 year old g3 up and running (after resetting the PRAM, a kernel panic and having to erase the hard drive and reinstall os panther) but it's kind of slow. lots of spinning rainbow circles.

i am asking everyone i know to donate $1.00 to help me get a new computer. i am not good at asking for help, so this is a huge stretch for me. i know i am lucky, i am grateful for everything i have, my health, my job, a roof and food, friends and family. i am lucky to have the g3, no matter how slow it is, but it's a stopgap. i need a new computer (or a refurb) to follow my dreams and start my etsy business, write parent newsletters, etc...
